Español Uno (1):
Submitted: Extra Credit (All five exams, collected & paper-clipped together. These are just on loan to me.)
Announcement: We will review 10-8 & 10-9 in class tomorrow.
Today’s Learning Objectives:
1. Listen to our new song: “Tú y mil mares” by Laura Pausini. Nice job catching the first missing words: ya no, eres, me, te.
2. Fill out the forms of doler on our blue, present tense verb packet.
DOLER (o-->ue) (to ache)
me duele/n…………….nos duele/n
te duele/n………………………….
le duele/n………………les duele/n
**doler is special. It’s a “backwards verb” like gustar. Just as we say “it pleases me” or “they please me,” we say “it aches me” or “they ache you.”
3. Practice our chapter 9 gestures.
4. Tackle the chapter 9 crossword.
Homework: (for tomorrow): Get a signature for the story “¿Estás enfermo, Cacahuate?”
Español Dos (2):
Collected: (4th & 6th periods only): Signed story “El día terrible de la curandera.”
Announcement: We will receive our song tomorrow. We will review 9-5 & 9-6 tomorrow.
Today’s Learning Objectives:
1. Working with your table groups, tackle our chapter 9 crossword.
2. Practice our chapter 9 gestures & share stories of injuries.
Homework: (5th period only): Have your signed story ready tomorrow.
