Announcement: We will be finishing Pobre Ana in class this week. Whatever you don’t finish during class time will be homework.

Today’s Learning Objectives:

1. Read, in Spanish, for ten minutes during SSR.

2. With a partner, think through how you would ask the following “weekend questions.”

Instrucciones: Con tu compañero/a, traduce las preguntas a continuación al español. Después, contéstalas.

--What did you want to do that you couldn’t manage to do?
--To where did you go and whom did you see?
--Did you have fun? What did you do?
--Where were you and what was the weather like?

Respuestas correctas:
--¿Qué querías hacer que no pudiste hacer?
[Quería pasar tiempo con mis amigos pero no pude.]
--¿Adónde fuiste y a quién/quiénes viste? [Fui a la casa de mi amiga. Vi a su familia.]
