1. Quick homework check during "para empezar" (in order to begin) warm-up. Students decide C (cierto) o F (falso) for 24 statements in Spanish.
2. Review of "para empezar" warm-up answers.
3. Listen to our new song of the week: "Dímelo" by Enrique Iglesias. Wow...nice choice, Connor. This is a popular song! Good job catching the first four missing words: yo, miras, voy, quiero.
4. Review of yesterday's homework: P-5 in the workbook.
5. Practice our gestures.
6. Finish yesterday's crossword and hold onto it for tomorrow.
Homework: If you didn't finish the crossword in class, do so tonight.

Today's Learning Objectives:
1. Complete workbook page 1-5 for our "para empezar" (in order to begin) warm-up. Practice with the present tense form of salir: salgo, sales, sale, salimos, salen. "Salgo" is irregular and is in our "Irregular yo song."
2. Practice singing our "Irregular yo song."
3. Receive last week's first unannounced vocabulary quiz. What we noticed about the mistakes made: 1) many mistakes were made on when an action happened 2) some more serious mistakes were made on who does/did the action.
4. Since last week's vocabulary quiz has IMPORTANT information that will be expected knowledge for our first test (next Tuesday), students are to redo the quiz with a partner. Students can use any resources to answer the questions: our vocab. display on the board, students' pink packets, students' partners' knowledge, etc. Additionally, since many mistakes focused on when an action happened, students need to additionally show me that they can switch the verb tense.
