lunes, el veinticinco de enero del dos mil diez

Español Uno (1):

Announcement: Spanish 1 students will receive their final exams in a couple days.

Today’s Agenda:

1. Read, in Spanish, for nine minutes during SSR.

2. Discuss the weekend, answering the following fundamental questions:

--¿Qué hiciste durante el fin de semana?
--¿Te divertiste o no?
--¿Qué tuviste que hacer?

3. Take a self-assessment on how well we can produce the following weekend phrases:

--I had fun……………………………..me divertí
--I had to go…………………………..tuve que ir
--I spent time with…………………pasé tiempo con
--I saw a movie………………………vi una película
--I babysat……………………………..cuidé niños

**Remember, we will be officially launching into the past tense in chapter six, so these and our other words in the past (comí, bebí, estaba(s), era(s), hiciste, hice, etc.) will provide us a good starting base.

4. Practice our gestures.

5. Begin a crossword, reviewing chapter 5 vocabulary.

Homework: We will continue working on the crosswords tomorrow. Do come in with at least ½ of the first crossword completed, so that you have less homework tomorrow night.

Español Dos (2):

Today’s Agenda:

1. Read, in Spanish, for ten minutes during SSR.

2. Discuss the weekend, adding two new fundamental questions to our “¿Qué hiciste…?” page:

--¿A qué hora viniste a PCFC esta mañana? / ¿Qué trajiste contigo?

Vine a las…. / Traje …conmigo.

3. With partners, re-tackle the verbs from our final exam.

4. Receive last week’s final exams and self-assess.

Homework: None.
