1. Using yesterday’s story illustrations, practice retelling the story “Hacía tanto frío que me iba a congelar.

2. Listen to some peer volunteers as they tell their versions aloud for us. Nice job!

3. Practice writing your version of the story (past or present) during a 10-minute class write.

4. Listen to our song of the week: “Paces” by los Atereciopelados.

5. Receive our chapter 8 pink list and begin to define the vocabulary.

1. Review any remaining preterite/imperfect verb choices on our Jorge el curioso (parte 2) worksheet.

2. Listen to our song of the week: “Paces” by los Aterciopelados.

3. Create a class story about Cenicienta (Cinderella), su madrastra malvada (her evil step-mother) and su hada (her fairy), in which Cenicienta’s fairy godmother casts a special spell (hechizo) on the madrastra malvada. Cenicienta is able to command her madrastra malvada to do whatever she pleases.

4. Illustrate scenes from your Cenicienta story.
