4. Discuss as a class what recommendations you would offer yourself if you could travel back in time and give advice before your first exam. Knowing what you know now, having completed three tests in my class, what are your best strategies for preparing for a test.

Recommendations offered:
--study all along, not just the night before
--while taking the test, budget the most time for the reading & writing sections
--practice conjugating verbs at home
--practice writing stories at home
--practice speaking at home, paying extra attention to tackling high-frequency vocabulary like "había, se llamaba, era, estaba, se puso, le dio, tenía, tuvo, anduvo, fue, así que, entonces, podía, iba a…., quería")
--make flashcards for the vocabulary
--pay attention to the finer details of the vocabulary, like tricky spelling (el rompecabezas)
