Announcement: I will not be here tomorrow due to an emergency medical appointment. There runs the chance that I would need to also be gone on Monday. KEEP practicing for your speaking assessments! They will start when I return on Tuesday.

Today’s Agenda:

1. Practice expressing “how long” we’ve been doing something, with the question: “¿Cuánto tiempo hace que….?

2. Listen to our song of the week: “Suerte.” Nice job catching the last three missing words: conocer, conmigo, empezar.

3. Practice our ch. 9 gestures.

4. Practice telling an original story to a partner, using our story illustrations.

Homework: Keep preparing yourself for next week’s vocabulary quiz (particularly emphasizing ch.8 & 9) and next week’s speaking assessment.

4. Practice our ch. 9 gestures.

5. Tackle page 3 in our “por/para” packet and review the answers.
