Español Uno (1):

Today’s Agenda:

1. Sing our song of the week: “Colores, colores.

2. Finish our first one-on-one speaking assessments. Nice preparation. Remember, you will continue to need to know these first 20 basic questions, as we will add to them.

3. During the speaking assessments, all other students finished yesterday’s retelling of the story “The Spotted Frog.” Additionally, students received a pink sheet with the correct translations written by the teacher. Students needed to EDIT their original translations.

Homework: If you did not finish your translations and editing (by using the pink teacher translations), please get those done for Monday.

Today’s Agenda:

1. Sing our song of the week: “Colores, colores.

2. Finish our first one-on-one speaking assessments. Nice preparation. You all came in well prepared to tell me your first basic story in the past.

3. During the speaking assessments, all other students finished yesterday’s retelling of the story “The Spotted Frog.” Additionally, students received a pink sheet with the correct translations written by the teacher. Students needed to EDIT their original translations.

4. During the speaking assessments, students also received a second story: “Poor fool.” After reading the story, students needed to write a 6-8 sentence paragraph retelling the story in our simple Spanish in the past.

Homework: If you did not finish activities 3 or 4, please have them complete for Monday.
