lunes, el catorce de marzo del dos mil once

Announcement: Next Monday (21st) & Tuesday (22nd), we will have our next cumulative exam. The speaking assessment will be both days (possibly into Wednesday, if needed). The other days you will tackle two each of the following: reading, writing (story in the past), vocabulary (cumulative, but main focus on last two chapters), grammar (cumulative, but main focus on last two chapters). There will be no listening section, as we have just taken a listening assessment.

Announcement: Good luck on this week’s state and district testing. Be sure to get some sleep!

Today’s Agenda:

1. Read, in Spanish, for ten minutes during SSR. Nice job guessing the meanings of unknown words.

2. Write a paragraph about what you did over the weekend and share with a partner. Students then shared out what their partners did.

3. Read another Clark Kent vignette to practice deciding between preterit and imperfect verbs. Remember, this is a fundamental skill for moving onto Spanish 3. We will be practicing this throughout the second semester.

Homework: None, officially. It’s recommended to study your vocabulary on Quizlet. Sleep well for this week’s tests. Good luck!
