Announcement #1: I am so sorry I wasn’t in class yesterday, as I know it was a tough day for some of you dealing with Lucas’ passing.
Announcement #2: The doctors have given little Bradley a clean bill of health!
Today’s Agenda:
1. Practice spelling unknown words in Spanish, using our knowledge of Spanish phonetics. Begin to decipher accent rules based upon a pattern in the words we spelled.
Today we established the following accent rule:
--All words ending in a vowel have a natural stress on the second to last syllable. A natural stress has no accent. If we hear the stress on a different syllable, we write an accent where we hear it.
2. Listen to our new song: “Estoy aquí.” Nice job catching the first three missing phrases: fue, lo que, ahora.
3. Practice our ch. 5 gestures.
4. Begin to review the workbook pages (5-3, 5-4).
Homework: Keep studying ch. 5 vocabulary on Quizlet.
